PostDoc / Ph.D. student (f/m/d)

Your tasks:
  • Analyses of pathogenic mechanisms related to neurodegenerative diseases using cell biological and biochemical approaches
  • Investigation of genetics and epigenetics of neurodegenerative diseases
  • Working with DNA, RNA and proteins from various patient-derived biomaterials
  • Supervision of technical assistants, interns, Bachelor- and Masterstudents
  • Writing of scientific publications and grant proposals
  • Presentation of projects at internal meetings and international congresses

Your profile:
  • Highly motivated and ambitious team player with a Master Degree or Ph.D. in a relevant field of life sciences
  • Candidates should have a strong background in molecular and cellular biology
  • High interest in neurodegenerative diseases and especially in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
  • Excellent experimental and analytical skills as well as experience in handling large data sets
  • Fluent English skills are mandatory
