to lead the Research Area "Genetics of Lymphomas, Leukemias and Immune-System associated Disorders" at the Institute of Human Genetics (Director: Professor Dr. Reiner Siebert), Ulm University & Ulm University Medical Center Ulm, Germany.

Your assignment:
  • Leading and coordinating research projects on inherited and somatic genetic variants in lymphomas, leukemias and disorders of the immune-System
  • Analysis and interpretation of next generation sequencing data as well as integrative bioinformatic analyses of multi-OMICs datasets
  • Coordination of activities on the genetics of disorders of the hematopoietic and immune systems in different clinical settings (e.g. Center for Rare Diseases, Center for Personlized Medicine)

Required qualifications:
  • PhD in any field of LifeSciences or Bioinformatics and/or MD ideally with considerable experience as PostDoc
  • Broad knowledge in the field(s) of molecular hematology, immunology, immune genetics and/or somatic genetics
  • Experiences in the field of next generation sequencing and/or bioinformatics including technological aspects, data analysis and interpretation
  • Motivation, independency, teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills in German and/or English
