Postdoc position (f/m/d)
in the field of pancreatic cancer research at Ulm University

With more than 25 departments and 13 institutes (1,150 beds), the University Medical Center Ulm is a leading health care provider in southwest Germany. We provide inpatient treatment to about 44,000 patients each year. Our outpatient cases amount to approximately 60,000. We attach great importance to qualified employees who ensure extremely high quality in the treatment of our patients by the use of the latest scientific knowledge and who enjoy their work.
We are investigating the role of extracellular vesicles (EVs) in pancreatic cancer carcinogenesis and progression in murine models, primary and established cells as well as in patients samples.


Required qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or Dr. rer nat. in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or related fields
  • Experience with molecular biology, animal work or biochemistry
  • Motivation to solve complex biological problems
  • Motivation to work as part of a cooperative research team
  • Motivation to work with animal model systems and patient material
  • Excellent communication skills in English
