Staff PostDoc or Clinician Scientist (f/m/d)

With more than 25 departments and 13 institutes (1,150 beds), the University Medical Center Ulm is a leading health care provider in southwest Germany. - Genetics and Epigenetics of B-Cell Lymphomas -
at the Institute of Human Genetics (Director Prof. Dr. Reiner Siebert) of Ulm University Medical Center


Your assignment:
  • Research in ongoing and novel local, national and international projects in the field of lymphoma genetics and epigenetics
  • Mining of huge multi-OMICs datasets of lymphomas including whole genome and transcriptome sequencing, DNA methylation and epigenome data
  • Performing functional (epi)genomics screens and validations in lymphomas
  • Translating findings into clinical trials
  • Publication of the results

Required qualifications:
  • PhD in any field of Life Sciences and/or MD
  • Broad knowledge in the field(s) of hematology, immunology, immune genetics and/or somatic genetics
  • Experiences in fields of functional genomics and/or next generation sequencing and/or bioinformatics
  • Motivation, independency, teamwork
  • Excellent communication skills in German and/or English
