Your Profile:
- Discovery of novel muscular dystrophy-associated genes molecular mechanisms by latest state-of-the-art OMICs techniques, in particular long-read RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics
- Characterization of mouse models to investigate the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms leading to muscular dystrophy
- Development of novel antisense oligonucleotides for exon skipping therapy of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in-vitro and mdx mice models
- Development of protein quantification techniques including mass spectrometry
- Working in collaboration with an international team under supervision and leadership of the PI
- Publishing impactful original research papers

Your Profile:
- Ph.D in biology and related field and a strong interest in drug development in genetically inherited diseases research interested and qualified MD will also be considered and we encourage applications
- hands-on experience with animal models is desirable
- A solid background in molecular biology is desirable
- Ability to work on multiple project in collaboration with others
- Candidates with programming skills will be preferred
- Candidates should be creative and capable of developing a competitive research project while working in autonomy under the supervision of a team leader
